God wants us to live in the present because the present is where time touches eternity. Remember, our destiny lies beyond this earthly existence; therefore, we should fix our primary focus on eternity. We may be a product of yesterday, but the past is frozen and no longer flows. We may plan for tomorrow, but tomorrow does not yet exist. We should live today because today is our window into eternity.
